Task

• • In this webquest you and your classmates are going to step into the world of the Olympic Games. You will do this either individually or in pairs. You are going to collect information about the Olympic Games and its history.

  • You will be able to focus on things that you find interesting.

  • You will work individually or with a partner.

You will also interview an Olympic sportsman or sportswoman that has been an inspiration to you (this could also be a person that doesn't live anymore). This interview will be 10-15 minutes long.

After collecting the information you will:

• • Shape this into an article of 500 - 750 words.

  • Tape the interview. If you work with a partner one of you will be the interviewer and the other will be the sportsman or sportswoman. If you work individually you will be the interviewer and you will have to find a volunteer who will play the role of sportsman or sportswoman.

A prize will be awarded for the best article and for the best interview.

Your main source of information will be the Internet, although you are also allowed to use other resources.

You will have to write down all websites you have consulted and you will collect all documents consulted. Put these in your folder.
